Since finding yoga nearly two decades ago and experiencing first-hand the endless therapeutic benefits of practice, Allegra embarked on sharing the healing tradition with others and has been teaching Vinyasa Yoga since 2010. Allegra encourages process over results, breath and movement as simple yet profound tools to break through boundaries and access possibilities, communication and collaboration – all inside a safe, inclusive and sacred space. Allegra invites students to explore themselves in relation to the world, move beyond what appears to be and rediscover the inherent state of peace, ease and joy that opens wide the doors for every individual to become fully aware, fully expressed, fully alive and truly happy. When she is not teaching, Allegra is busy at her full-time job managing the production of books for a medical publishing company, hanging out with her wonderful Nana, amazing boyfriend Ray and adorable cat Ruffalo, cooking nourishing plant-based foods, and spending time in the great outdoors.
